Terms of Service (ToS)

By inviting, adding, or using Confessy (“the Service”) in a Discord server, or by submitting a confession through the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.2. Description of Service
Confessy is a Discord bot designed to facilitate anonymous communication within Discord servers.- Anonymity: The bot posts messages to a public channel without displaying the author’s name to the general public.
- Moderation Tools: The Service provides tools for Server Administrators (“Author Logs”) to view user identities for moderation purposes. Anonymity is not absolute relative to Server Staff.
3. User Conduct
You agree not to use Confessy to generate content that violates Discord’s Community Guidelines or Terms of Service. This includes, but is not limited to:- Illegal Content: Promoting illegal acts, sharing Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM), or non-consensual sexual content (NCII).
- Harassment: Targeted bullying, hate speech, or severe harassment of individuals.
- Doxxing: Sharing private personal information of others without consent.
4. Global Moderation & Termination
To maintain the safety of the platform, the Confessy Development Team retains the right to:- Global Ban: Permanently block a user from using the bot across all servers if they violate these Terms.
- Content Removal: Delete any confession from our database and the associated Discord message if it is reported or flagged, regardless of the specific server’s rules.
5. Server Administration & Liability
- Server Autonomy: Individual Server Administrators are responsible for moderating content within their own servers.
- Author Logs: Server Administrators may enable “Author Logs” to view the identity of confession authors. Confessy is not responsible for how Server Administrators use, share, or act upon this information.
- Disclaimer: The Service is provided “as is.” The Developer is not liable for any damages arising from the use of the Service, including the exposure of a user’s identity by Server Administrators.
